Applied Behavior Analysis

Purpose meets practice.

I’m Lana Moore—an ABA graduate student committed to thoughtful, ethical, and data-informed practice that respects the whole person.

What guides me
Behavior tells a story. Good practice begins by listening carefully.

How I approach the work.

My developing practice is grounded in technical accuracy, meaningful outcomes, and respect for the people and families at the center of every decision.

01

Data with purpose

Measurement should clarify what is happening, guide decisions, and help determine whether support is producing meaningful change.

02

Compassion in practice

Technical competence and humane care belong together. Dignity, assent, individual preferences, and social validity matter.

03

Progress that lasts

The goal is not performance for a single session. It is useful skill development that generalizes across people, places, and everyday life.

A career built in chapters.

My background across people leadership, entrepreneurship, and behavioral science gives me a practical perspective on learning, performance, and change.

Professional foundation

Human resources, talent acquisition, and people strategy

More than a decade of experience leading complex hiring initiatives, partnering across teams, strengthening candidate and employee experiences, and aligning people strategy with organizational goals. My background includes full-cycle recruiting, stakeholder communication, performance evaluation, process improvement, and helping people move toward meaningful professional opportunities.

Entrepreneurship

Founder, seven-figure entrepreneur, and community-minded builder

I founded and scaled a wellness-centered retail business into a million-dollar enterprise. That journey required vision, brand development, customer insight, financial discipline, operational problem-solving, and the ability to adapt through every stage of growth—experience that continues to shape how I lead, communicate, and build systems that serve people well.

About Lana

Experience shaped me. Purpose focuses me.

I came to ABA with years of experience understanding people, solving practical problems, and building trust. That background now strengthens the way I think about behavior, instruction, supervision, and meaningful outcomes.

I value clear communication, careful documentation, ethical judgment, and the willingness to keep learning. My long-term goal is to contribute to ABA practice that is both scientifically sound and genuinely responsive to the people it serves.
